Our commitment to charity fundraising.

Over the past five years the studio has donated gifts of monetary measures along with our signature sessions as auction items to raise money for our beloved charities. The charities chosen are accredited organizations whose main goal is to assist children and animals. A partial list of our chosen groups are: The Hellenic Cardiac Fund, Operation Smile, Children's Hospital Boston, The Woodside School, BIT Auction ( Foxboro Elementarty Schools), Rodman Ride for Kids and the Greyhound Friends.

Our year to date offerings exceed $10,000 and we are proud to feature the recipients who have contributed to our efforts.

Public Garden Engagment Session 8.6.09

The Boston Public Garden has got to be the most romantic backdrop for an Engagement Session. Alexandra and Mike are soon to wed and since they both live in the city, this spot could not have been more fitting. The infamous swan boats and ice cream truck bring back fond memories of my many, many family outings to the Park with Mom,Dad and Sis. Looking forward to bringing the wedding party back and the couple as Mr. & Mrs!

Beach Sessions Still Available

I know it seems like summer will never get here. Each day seems to pass in slow motion. A peak through the blinds reveals the same vision;skies filled with cumulus clouds and even pellets of hail. Sure enough this can't last forever and once the skies clear you will be in the mood: to play, travel and do just about anything outside. Plan now to have your summer session created. It is not too late and we are still taking appointments. August is the busiest season, but I can always squeeze you in.
Mention this blog posting and receive a complimentary 5x7 from your session. (Special blog offer only).

Well I never did make it to New York for the Portrait Party I had set up but did manage to squeak in an engagement session on Newbury Street, Boston,Ma on the Wednesday the 17th. Joann and Bill were lots of fun to work with and they certainly do photograph well. A tell tail sign their wedding photos will be superb! See you guys in August.

Meet Sarah Appleby 2009 Boston Arthritis Walk Ambassador

Through my chosen profession, I have met quite a few interesting and motivating people throughout the years. Recently I was asked to prepare a "head-shot" for a young lady in need of a press release image. The results are shown, fully mastered as a professional image should be. I wanted to share Sarah's story in hopes of inspiring others.

Sarah Appleby has captained Boston Walk Team "Team Foxboro" for the last two years. In that time, the team has raised over remarkable $16,000! This was not an easy task, but the now seventeen year old was determined that she would do the best she could to support the Arthritis Foundation. The Foundation was the first place she and her family turned to when she was diagnosed at age 15 with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. To read more you can find her bio on: www.bostonarthritiswalk.org Check the link to the left that says "Meet Ambassador Sarah Appleby.
